ABOUT LACUNA
The Lacuna Collective’s Purpose
There's a version of your life you can see clearly. You know what you want to feel like. You know what needs to change. You've done enough work to understand yourself pretty well.
And still, something isn't connecting.
That's the gap Lacuna Collective was built for. Not the gap between knowing nothing and knowing everything. The gap between understanding your patterns and actually living differently. Between insight and integration. Between who you've been and who you're becoming.
Why the LACUNA COLLECTIVE exists
Most healing spaces focus on awareness, helping you understand what happened and why it shaped you. That's important work. But awareness alone doesn't change things.
Lacuna Collective exists for the next part. The part where you take everything you've learned about yourself and figure out how to actually live it.
From insight to integration. From knowing to doing. From who you've been to who you're becoming building.
The name Lacuna means an unfilled space. A gap. I'm not here to fill that gap for you. I'm here to help you bridge it, on your own terms, at your nervous system's pace.
Lacuna’s Values & Principles
-
You don't have to earn your place here. You show up as you are, messy, in progress, complicated, and that's enough.
I work with women across a range of identities, backgrounds, and experiences and I'm committed to showing up for all of it without judgment. You are welcome here exactly as you are. -
The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of everything. Research consistently shows that the quality of the relationship between client and therapist is one of the strongest predictors of meaningful change. I hold that seriously.
My commitment to you is grounded in transparency, trust, and consistent presence. Your needs lead the work. Your pace sets the rhythm. This space exists for one reason, so you feel safe enough so you can finally take the mask off.

I believe that growth doesn't stop, not for my clients and not for me. I am committed to my own continuing education, supervision, and personal development because the quality of the work I do with you depends on it. I can only take you as far as I'm willing to go myself.
And for you, growth here isn't about arriving somewhere. It's about learning to trust yourself again along the way. There's no destination. Just the slow, honest process of becoming more yourself.
About The Founder
I built the Lacuna Collective because I couldn't find what I needed anywhere else — a space that held all of it together. The emotional work, the body-based work, the practical support for living differently. I kept having to go from place to place to piece it together myself, so eventually I decided to create it instead.
I'm Amy, a licensed therapist with 10+ years of experience working with women navigating trauma, anxiety, and ADHD. I'm trained in EMDR, somatic therapy, and parts work, and I'm licensed in Oregon, Massachusetts & Colorado.
I'm bi-coastal, splitting my time between Massachusetts and Bend, Oregon depending on the time of year, with my mini bernedoodle Rue who you'll likely spot in our sessions. When I'm not working you'll find me on a trail, in my garden, or deep in a fantasy fiction or psychological thriller.
